A nice mix of eras. It doesn’t really need the darker jersey back and detailing down the sides, and I’d rather a better number set, but everything else – the colours, the trees on the trim – is great.
Green outline on the green Bucks and number is a bit of overkill, and the mismatched neck and arm trim bugs me more than it should. I would have liked to see some maroon included and I’m just a little disappointed the original Bucks logo didn’t get squeezed in there somewhere.
Nah, not this. They get points for being unique, and lose them all – and then some – for it being ugly, sorry. Please just switch the entire brand to the Vice colours and be done with it.
Would have been nice to see a little teal thrown in to call back to the Vancouver origins (especially given how heavily they’re using the teal in their online graphics this season). It’s not really visible here but they’ve also thrown in some claw marks on the Memphis wordmark for some reason. Sure, it’s a detail, but it’s not really needed.
Overall I like this, aside from two minor – easy to fix – quirks. I realise the wonky Lakers script is by design, but I really don’t like it. And it would have been nice to see the stars brought in closer for jerseys with the single digit numbers. If not for the Clippers already wearing light blue, I’d suggest this might be even better in a reversed colour way.
In a word, yes. Take everything the Clippers are currently doing with their brand and place it in a dark, locked, cupboard somewhere it won’t be rediscovered. These are the colours they should be wearing, and the classic script is so much better than what they’re using now. Don’t really like the the old style numbers, but that’s an easy fix.
These are close to great. Either just go with the navy across the top and lose the diagonal split, or just lose the navy across the top and keep the split. It doesn’t need both.
I didn’t like this look in the 90s, and I still don’t like it. The jagged pinstripes look janky around the single digit numbers. The Rockets should be red and yellow.
Stop wearing black. If they wanted something darker I would have much preferred the navy of their jerseys earlier in the 00s. Throw in a little bit of the orange from that same era, and make the lightning bolts on the sides more prominent. I don’t love the lack of a name/wordmark on the chest, but the Warriors are probably the one team that can get away with it.
I suspect a large portion of people were probably hoping for something in teal, but I’m glad they didn’t. That said I do like the very minimal use of teal in the trim on these, and wouldn’t mind seeing that on their main jerseys just to differentiate them from the other blue/red/white teams.
After a few years of successful use of the rainbow on their alt jerseys, this one just doesn’t do it for me. Take the rainbows away (or use them differently) and I quite like it, probably more than the rest of their current jersey set.
Close to greatness, these are the colours the Mavs should be wearing full time, probably just with a little more blue, and minus the satin. The extra green outline on the logo makes things a bit busy, and I’ve really liked the deep swoopyness under the arms on Mavs jerseys, but I can live with it.
